paw and disorder: our story
Growing up around Labradors and Spaniels ignited my passion for dogs from a young age, leading me to pursue a career in canine behavior. By 2011, I was already working professionally with dogs, but my enthusiasm for dog obedience training was reignited when my wife brought home a two-month-old beagle. I soon realized that my previous professional training hadn’t fully prepared me for the challenges of raising such a spirited dog, prompting me to immerse myself in studying canine behavior. I completed hours of online courses, worked in kennels, and learned as much as possible about effective dog training methods. My obsession with dogs deepened.
In 2013, a German Shepherd became my new companion and personal project. He had issues with recall, reactivity, and walking on the lead. However, after countless hours of training using positive reinforcement techniques, I confirmed that the knowledge I had gained was effective. He blossomed into an incredible companion.
The impact of my German Shepherd, Hoby, further motivated me to wonder how many more dogs I could help. This desire to make a difference in the lives of dogs and their owners led to the creation of Paw and Disorder.
With my knowledge, experience, and dedication, I have changed the lives of countless dogs through effective dog training. Today, my passion lies in working with large breeds, but I am more than happy to address any issue with any dog.
